The Inter Baltic Biogas Arena (IBBA) is a network of organisations and institutes, which are involved in research in the field of biogas and biomethane. IBBA organizes workshops and conferences to discuss specific topics.

The last workshop took place on April 17th – 18th, 2023 in Weimar in cooperation with the ABIOTEC II project partners. ABIOTEC II examined antibiotics from animal husbandry – specifically in the manure that lands in biogas plants. The workshop focused on the effects of antibiotics in manure and digestate on soil and agriculture as well as practical measurement and management options.
